Evaluate your heaviness.

Are you looking at what other people have and what you don’t? Are you so impressed with your choices and so sick of everyone making the wrong ones and being so blinded and somehow they just can’t see their wrongdoing?

Do you love your country so much that somehow God’s wrath is coming to everyone, besides America? These ideologies are heavy to carry. 

Do you ever feel like the thing(s) that God asks you to do are nearly impossible? Beyond your capacity? Frustrating to even think about.

Start a business when you are the most unorganized person you know. Preach when you stutter. Apologize again and reconcile that relationship when you didn’t even start it. 

It can sometimes feel like God is asking us to do His job. We’re stuck thinking like… no, God. YOU do it.

Both appear busy at work with shovels in hand, turning over soil, dropping something into the ground. From the outside, they look the same. But, one is planting a seed while the other is burying a talent. 

Have you planted a seed and you’re waiting for the proper time to harvest?

Or are you burying your gift because you’re afraid to lose it? 

No one else can tell the difference. But you can. 

This sacrifice has become sacred and a way to offer my body as a living sacrifice.

Praise be to God that He would use the beautiful gift of becoming a mother to remind me and refine me. 

He has not called me to a life of self indulgence.

He has called me to Himself.
